About the role

Sitting in the Ministry’s communications and engagement team, you’ll get the chance to work across a wide remit, including content production, digital publishing, and monitoring and measurement of internal and external channels. The team has a wealth of experience, with colleagues keen to help support you to grow and advance your career.

About you

Our successful candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience working within a communications and engagement function. We need someone who is curious, savvy, keen to build their skills across different channels, tools and disciplines, and happy to roll up their sleeves.

You will bring

• A relevant tertiary qualification

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a communications or related role

• Experience writing engaging, plain language content for a variety of audiences across different channels

• Website and intranet publishing skills – with an understanding of NZ Government Web Standards

• Graphic design or social media experience would be a bonus

Salary range: $79,078 - $104,887 dependent on skills and experience
